DRAM SHOP CLAIMS & DEFENCE

Dram shop includes a restaurant, a bar, a tavern, or any other server of alcohol whether it be a company or a host. In Indiana, there is a duty imposed on owners of a dram shop to not over serve patrons that are visually intoxicated. There is also a duty not to serve minors. If either duty is breached, and the patrons were to get in an accident where they injure themselves or others, the dram shop may have some partial liability for the damages or injuries caused by the minor or over served patrons.

If you believe you have a dram shop claim or if you may have a dram shop case brought against you, don’t wait. Contact the lawyers at Tate & Bowen LLP immediately to schedule a consultation and to review your case.
